Blandford Lodge is a thoroughbred horse breeding farm situated 5km out of Matamata in the heart of the Waikato where many of New Zealand’s major thoroughbred breeding farms are based. The farm is a superior boarding class facility providing excellent client relationships and has a goal to breed quality racehorses for the global thoroughbred market.
Matamata, has a high annual rainfall, a temperate climate and rich, free-draining soils and is called the ‘Kentucky of New Zealand’. Blandford Lodge reaps the climate benefits of excellent pasture growth all year round.

We are a high-end Boutique thoroughbred breeding stud located in MATAMATA, NEW ZEALAND.
We have broodmares, yearlings, spellers & foals to tend to. Prior experience is needed to a high standard.
The position available is a crucial part of our operation here at Blandford Lodge NZ.
We are looking for someone who is energetic, trustworthy, confident and has the ability to think ahead, make educated decisions and is an all-round team player.
* Can make educated decisions and act in a professional manner.
* Prior experience in broodmare and yearling management.
